Duties include setting the school’s vision, aims and objectives, approving the school budget and monitoring the School Development Plan. Governors are there to provide oversight and accountability.

You do not need to have specific skills however it is important that we form a governing body that is diverse, aspirational and can support the school in a variety of key areas such as teaching and learning, finance and recruitment.
