Herons On the Loose!

While some of Year 6 were away at PGL for their residential trip, the children who stayed at school were treated to some trips out and fun activities in school. This also coincided with the hottest days of the year so far!

Mrs Meikle and Mrs Roberts took the children on a series of adventures to Go Ape, Bowling and on a Mystery Trail around Reading. You can read about Go Ape and Bowling in other articles on the website. On Thursday our team set off to catch a bus in to Reading and then embarked upon a trail taking in some fascinating sights in Reading...the children certainly learnt some new facts about our town!

Lunch was a treat at McDonalds and we finished the day off with cooling milkshakes and ice creams.

Friday being the hottest day of the year was a quiet chilled day. We watched a film and relaxed!
