PSHE
At Lambs Lane we believe that a high quality PSHE curriculum, tailored to meet the needs our pupils, is vital to ensuring they thrive in a time of rapid change. New and unpredictable opportunities and challenges are constantly emerging and we have a key role in making sure that they have the personal characteristics, knowledge and skills to manage these effectively.

We know that our PSHE programme is just one part of what the school can do to help our pupils develop the knowledge, skills, attitudes and understanding they need to engage positively in today’s society. We link the PHSE education programme to other subjects, other whole school approaches, such as RTime, as well as pastoral support. We provide opportunities for pupils to make real decisions about their lives, to take part in activities that replicate adult choices where they can demonstrate their ability to take responsibility for their decisions.
In order for that to happen, we provide a safe and supportive learning environment where children can develop the confidence to ask questions, challenge the information they are offered, draw on their own experience, express their views and opinions and put what they have learned into practice in their own lives.
